Council of Agencies Serving South Asians (CASSA) in Toronto, Ontario, Canada needs certain participants’ valuable input into the CASSA project Building Capacity: Mapping and Documenting Anti-Poverty Advocacy in Scarborough as follows:

“Do you live and/or work in SCARBOROUGH?

HAVE YOU PARTICIPATED IN POVERTY REDUCTION WORK ?
Like tenant working groups, community meetings, neighborhood action groups?

WE WANT TO HEAR ABOUT YOUR EXPERIENCE!

The Council of Agencies Serving South Asians (CASSA) is looking for both women and members of the South Asian Community who answer yes to the above questions to provide valuable input into our project Building Capacity: Mapping and Documenting Anti-Poverty Advocacy in Scarborough!

PARTICIPATE in one of two focus groups:

  • November 14th from 6-8pm (This focus group looks at  the experiences of South Asians)
  • November 20th   1-3pm (This focus group looks at the experiences of Women)

Both focus groups will be held at CASSA’s Office unit 212 at 2401 Eglinton Ave. E. (Right by Kennedy Subway Station).

Participants will receive:

“TTC Tokens —  Food — Small Honoraria

Childcare and Translation available by request!
