Well, you may want to consider having Family Day at the NFB (National Film Board of Canada) Mediatheque.
NFB Mediatheque would like to invite you to the following all day FREE event:
FREE Animation Fun on Family Day!

You can choose from a wide selection of Family Day activities as follows:
- “Families come in all colours, shapes and sizes! Show what your family means to YOU by animating them through 2D classical animation.” Workshops are offered at 10am, 12:30pm and 3pm. Ages 6-13. Registration required in advance: 416-973-3012.
- A screening program of NFB family-friendly classics will be running all day long in the cinema – revisit your favourites like The Cat Came Back and The Danish Poet! All ages welcome!
- Scavenger hunts will be available on the digital viewing stations to explore the best of NFB collection of over 5,500 films! Complete the hunt, and enter to win a fantastic gift basket of NFB goodies! All ages welcome!
- Want to drop by and jump straight into an animation workshop? Join them for NFB pixillation workshop, running every hour, on the hour, from 9am through 4pm! You get to be the star! All ages welcome and NO registration required!
