“At YRFN (York Region Food Network) we recognize that food security or insecurity, is about income and access to healthy food. For that reason we endeavour to work in the community in a number of different ways to address injustice and income inequity and create opportunities for all residents to be able to access healthy food,” states Joan Stonehocker, Executive Director, York Region Food Network.

Join the conversation in this session about food security. This food security session is  organized by the Knowledge Mobilization (KMb) Unit at York University, which operates in partnership with the United Way of York Region.
