“Glean On Me…When You’re Not Strong”: Free Fresh Food At A Farm

Poverty Action for Change Coalition (PACC) announces the “Glean On Me…When You’re Not Strong” program.

” Glean On Me…When You’re Not Strong” kicks of Wednesday,  June 7, 2010, for anyone wishing to “Glean” (pick) some fresh strawberries for free. Also, free transportation is provided, but you must supply refreshments. This “Glean On Me” outing will occur at a local strawberry farm.

Transportation pick-up is behind the old antique mall on Main Street South (now an insurance company) in Newmarket, Ontario, at 9:15- 9:30 AM this Wed July 7…….returns by 11:30 am – 12 noon-ish.

Here are the following requirements for the Glean On Me outing:

  • you must supply refreshments
  • only children of ages 5 and up are allowed to join their parents/guardians on this outing
