Due to the Canadian Food Inspection Agency’s (CFIA) inspection activities, Korea Food Trading Ltd. is recalling Rice Porridge with Abalone from the marketplace because it may permit the growth of Clostridium botulinum bacteria.

• Consumers should not consume the recalled product described below.
• Toxins produced by these bacteria may cause botulism, a life-threatening illness.

  • Class 1 is a situation in which there is a reasonable probability that the use of, or exposure to, a violative product will cause serious adverse health consequences or death.

• dry throat
• respiratory failure
• paralysis
