Family-Friendly Hours Coming To More ServiceOntario Centres

McGuinty Government Expanding Hours On Thursday And Saturday
ServiceOntario is expanding its hours of service to help Ontario families access government services like driver’s licence and health card renewal, where and when they need them.
More than 100 ServiceOntario centres across the province will now stay open until 8 p.m. on Thursday evenings and will open on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. This gives families seven extra hours a week of convenient and flexible access to government services, in a way that fits their life.
Ontarians can also access a number of services online helping to save time and money, such as renewing their licence plate sticker, and applying for a birth, death or marriage certificate. Services are also available at kiosks and by telephone.
Offering extended hours at ServiceOntario centres is part of the McGuinty government’s plan to make it easier for families and businesses to access government services.
