This is an update to my previous blog Quebec Food Recall: Certain Meat Products.

Regarding the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food of Quebec’s / Le ministère de l’Agriculture, des Pêcheries et de l’Alimentation du Québec (MAPAQ)’s  food safety investigation of meat products from Boucherie Laurentienne ltée, the voluntary recall update now includes a second list of  additional meat products as well as additional retail locations, which is given below in the Quebec Food Recall Advisory/Update:

The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food of Quebec / Le ministère de l’Agriculture, des Pêcheries et de l’Alimentation du Québec (MAPAQ) in collaboration with Boucherie Laurentienne ltée (established at 381, rue Principale in Wentworth-Nord, Quebec, Canada) and companies/places of sale (as listed in the Quebec Food Recall Advisory below) are warning the public not to consume products that are described in this Quebec Food Recall Advisory because they have not been prepared so as to ensure safety:

The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food of Quebec / Le ministère de l’Agriculture, des Pêcheries et de l’Alimentation du Québec (MAPAQ), in collaboration with the the company operating under the firm name Pensée Santé and established at 20A, Route 271, St-Ephrem, Quebec, Canada, is warning the public not to consume crunchy carob manufactured by this company, as this product contains peanut butter YUM brand that is the subject of a notice to consumers from of the Canadian Food Inspection Agency due to possible contamination with Salmonella or other harmful bacteria.
