During National Forest Week, Canadians are invited to learn more about Canada’s forest heritage and to raise awareness about this valuable and renewable resource.
The theme of this year’s National Forest Week is “The Greenest Work Force”.
It is intended to highlight the vital work of forest professionals and practitioners and to recognize them as “true greenies” who are involved in managing all aspects of forest!

In honour of the Centennial, Silent Sundays @ the Revue Cinema brings a silent film (featuring streetcars of course!) to the Wychwood Theatre featuring live accompaniment by musicians William O’Meara and Tania Gill.

“Toronto’s historic Fort York has the largest collection of original War of 1812 buildings in Canada.
Over 200 volunteers come from all over North America to provide battle re-enactments, military drills, parades and other colorful activities.
