Love Train Set to Roll
The votes are in and Calgary Transit’s “Love Train” is set to roll!
On Valentine’s Day, Monday, Feb. 14, Alderman Druh Farrell will officially announce and introduce the winning couple of Calgary Transit’s best love story contest.
The fun will take place on a special in-service “Love Train” that the media are invited to ride departing Olympic Plaza Station at 12 noon sharp.
A CTrain car will be decked out for Valentine’s Day and the contest winners will be able to share their story of how they found love on Calgary Transit! There promises to be lots of sights and sounds on board!
Among the festivities will be a young violinist serenading the beaming winning couple. A series of love songs playing in the background will spice up the commuters’ journey!
The destination sign on the front of the Love Train will display “Love Train” for Valentine’s Day.
Media wanting to ride along and take in the love on Valentine’s Day, are asked to be on time for the 12 noon departure of the Love Train at Olympic Plaza Station. The train will be in service and cannot wait.
The Love Train will travel to Crowfoot Station and return to the downtown (Centre Street Station) just after 1 p.m.
