Together with the Etobicoke Centennial Choir, the Etobicoke Community Concert Band (ECCB) presents “Last Night of the Proms”.

The Proms” is an eight-week, annual, summer season of daily orchestral classical music concerts and other events predominantly held in the Royal Albert Hall in London, United Kingdom.

“The ‘Last Night’ is very different from the others and is traditionally in a lighter, ‘winding-down’ vein; traditional classics followed by a series of British patriotic pieces in the second half of the concert; by tradition beginning with Pomp and Circumstance March No. 1, continuing with Fantasia on British Sea Songs, culminating in Rule, Britannia! and concluding with Jerusalem and the national anthem. There is a tradition of singing Auld Lang Syne after the end of the concert.”

Presented jointly with the Etobicoke Centennial Choir.
