  • After 13 years, the Stomp Urban Dance Competition and Showcase continues to be the biggest Toronto youth event and showcase of urban dance.

13th Annual STOMP Urban Dance Competition & Showcase

Sunday, June 8, 2014

1 Front St. E. (at Yonge St.), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Ticket price: $5 (Tickets will sell out fast!)

STOMP urban dance competition/showcase features 0ver 400 participants, from six to 24 years of age, who participate in Toronto Parks, Forestry and Recreation dance programs, private dance companies, community dance groups and showcase teams and local school boards.

  • Dancers are then divided into three levels: Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced to compete for the title of Best Dance Group.
  • Styles of dance include step, break, hip hop, dancehall, jazz and contemporary.
  • The event will highlight Toronto’s up-and-coming youth bands, vocalists, rappers and dub poets.
