Ongoing, scheduled construction of a second platform is under way at the TTC’s Union Station (as part of the Union Station Revitalization Project) in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Hence, the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) subway service will be affected as follows:

  • There will be no subway service between Union and St Andrew Stations on Saturday, January 26 and Sunday, January 27
  • All trains on the Yonge line will terminate southbound at Union Station
  • All trains on the University-Spadina line will terminate southbound at St Andrew Station
  • Therefore, customers must use the Yonge subway line to reach Union Station
  • For customers who require accessible transit between Union and St Andrew stations, an accessible Wheel-Trans vehicle will be available
    • Customers can speak with any uniformed TTC employee at either station to make use of this service

Regular subway service will resume on Monday, January 28 at 6 a.m.
