30 people came on November 19th to engage in conversation about social issues. Occupy Newmarket  is holding another General Assembly on Saturday, November 26th, at 1 pm for those who wish to come! Anybody and everybody is welcome to come have their voice heard!

Also, on the following Sunday, November 27th, at 1:30 pm at the CUPE Local 905 Building, 20 Charles Street, Newmarket, Ontario, Canada L3Y 3V8, there will be a meeting and an educational presentation titled WHY OCCUPY? to discuss and answer everyone’s questions on this subject.

Leaders from the Occupy Toronto movement will be joining them.

WE (Occupy Newmarket) are a group of concerned community residents who want to put social justice, fairness and new ideas on the table to counteract the inequity and general breakdown of the world economy that is leaving an increasing number of people completely out of the equation, and literally “out in the cold” for many.
