Come out and celebrate the official announcement of “One Year To Go” Ontario Summer Games – Toronto 2012.

Also, you are wanted as a volunteer as more than 1,000 volunteers are required for the 2012 Ontario Summer Games.

Volunteers can sign up at the celebration of “One Year To Go” Ontario Summer Games – Toronto 2012, which will take place on:

City of Toronto to host 2012 Ontario Summer Games

The City of Toronto, together with the Honourable Margarett Best, Minister of Health Promotion and Sport; Holly Abraham, Chair of the Sport Alliance of Ontario; Rahul Bhardwaj, Chair of the Toronto 2012 Ontario Summer Games Organizing Committee, and Olympian Crispin Duenas will join in a celebration officially announcing “One Year To Go” to the City of Toronto hosting the 2012 Ontario Summer Games.

Time: 4:40 to 5:15 p.m.
Location: Rotunda, Toronto City Hall, 100 Queen St. W.

From August 16 to 19, 2012, the Ontario Summer Games will bring together almost 2,500 athletes competing in 28 sports in multiple venues across Toronto and surrounding regions, as well as coaches, managers and officials from across the province. It is a unique opportunity for many young athletes, as this multi-sport competition serves as a stepping stone to many national and international competitions. With more than 1,000 volunteers required, the Games will provide a wonderful opportunity to develop a legacy of volunteerism.

The 2012 Ontario Summer Games will be funded by the Ministry of Health Promotion and Sport through the Sport Alliance of Ontario, in partnership with the City of Toronto, the Toronto Sports Council, Tourism Toronto and various other funding sources.

Toronto is Canada’s largest city and sixth largest government, and home to a diverse population of about 2.6 million people. Toronto’s government is dedicated to delivering customer service excellence, creating a transparent and accountable government, reducing the size and cost of government and building a transportation city. La Ville de Toronto sera l’hôte des Jeux d’été de l’Ontario en 2012

La Ville de Toronton, de concert avec l’honorable Margarett Best, la ministre de la Promotion de la santé et du Sport; Holly Abraham, le président de la Sport Alliance of Ontario; Rahul Bhardwaj, le président du Comité d’organisation des Jeux d’été de l’Ontario de 2012 et l’athlète olympique Crispin Duenas, participeront à la célébration officielle annonçant que « Dans un an » la Ville de Toronto sera l’hôte des Jeux d’été de l’Ontario de 2012.

Lieu: Rotonde, Hôtel de ville de Toronto, 100 ouest, rue Queen

Du 16 au 19 août 2012, les Jeux d’été rassembleront près de 2 500 athlètes en compétition pour 28 sports, dans des installations multiples à Toronto et dans les régions avoisinantes, ainsi que des entraîneurs, directeurs et représentants officiels de toute la province. Ces jeux multisports représentent une occasion unique pour de nombreux jeunes athlètes en leur servant de tremplin pour les compétitions nationales et internationales. Nécessitant les services de plus de 1 000 bénévoles, les Jeux seront une excellente occasion de faire valoir le bénévolat.

Les Jeux d’été de l’Ontario de 2012 seront financés par le ministère de la promotion de la Santé et des Sports par l’entremise de la Sport Alliance of Ontario, en partenariat avec la Ville de Toronto, le Toronto Sports Council, Tourisme Toronto et diverses autres sources de financement.

Toronto est la plus grande ville du Canada et le sixième plus grand gouvernement, et compte une population diversifiée d’environ 2,6 millions de personnes. Le gouvernement de la Ville de Toronto est engagé à fournir un excellent service à la clientèle, à former une organisation transparente et responsable, à réduire les coûts et la bureaucratie municipaux et à bâtir une ville de transports publics.     I was looking for a list of Venues for the 2012 Ontario Summer Games but they are not on the website. Are they available yet?
