The highlights of the HarbourKIDS: SK8 FREE winter festival include:

  • at The Natrel® Rink on the shoreline of Lake Ontario, ice skating will be used as a launch pad to explore all forms of skating and winter culture from a kid’s perspective
  • get ramped up for skateboard-making demos
  • a performance by Bidiniband
  • take the gloves off and get cozy for a screening of The Neverending Story
  • and much more!

At Harbourfront Centre, HarbourKIDS festivalsaim to engage kids and their families by encouraging their participation in activities that explore “Big Ideas” like respect, fearlessness and community through the lens of arts and culture. These Big Ideas challenge kids’ notions, validate and illuminate their values and ask some questions that aim to ignite imagination, creativity and thought.
