Currently in its 10th year, The Cause is the Toronto Youth Cabinet’s (TYC) annual celebration of youth voice and action.
This is an event put on for youth by youth.
“Participants get the chance to network with various youth-driven organizations located throughout Toronto to learn about different ways they can become involved in their communities. Youth have the opportunity to find a CAUSE they are most passionate about.
In an effort to showcase what the Toronto Youth Cabinet is really all about, the theme of this year is ‘Youth Opportunity.” There will be a community group expo, interactive workshops, a buffet dinner and live entertainment. New this year is a panel of councilors and youth leaders discussing the current City budget crisis. Best of all, its FREE!”
