Bloor West Village, Toronto, between Jane St. and Glendowynne Rd. Ride The Rocket, Take The TTC, arrive at Jane station or Runnymede station on the Bloor-Danforth subway line.
“Discover Ukrainian culture in Canada and share the Ukrainian spirit at North America’s Largest Ukrainian Street Festival.”
There will be:
- non-stop entertainment with Ukrainian performers from the Greater Toronto Area, Canada, the USA and Ukraine which will include dancers, vocalists and musicians;
- YOUTH segment on the grand stage at Jane Street;
- and if you wish – join the dancing at the evening ZABAVA/Street Dance on both Friday and Saturday.
- vendor kiosks: delicious authentic Ukrainian food and beverages, beautiful souvenirs, interactive pavilions, and more;
- SIDEWALK SALE shopping at the local Bloor West Village businesses;
- a midway for kids and youth;
- the colourful parade on Saturday morning at 11am and
- a new attraction this year is the Film Festival being held at the Runnymede Library (Sat) and The Village Playhouse (Sun).
Friday to Sunday Road Closures:
- Bloor Street from Jane Street to Glendonwynne Road will be closed from Friday, September 16 at 9:30 a.m. to Sunday, September 18 at 11:59 p.m. for the Bloor West Village Ukrainian Festival. Please note that Runnymede Road will be open to traffic during the event.
- A series of other closures involving local roads will take place in the area to accommodate this event.

Weekend events with road closures in Toronto
Two special events this week will involve road closures. Residents and visitors are encouraged to come out and enjoy the events. Businesses in the affected areas are open to pedestrian traffic but some roads will be closed to motorists.
Festivals and other special events are important to the city, injecting hundreds of millions of dollars annually into Toronto’s economy, and they are enjoyed each year by local residents.
In addition to road closures related to special events, a significant amount of road work is taking place in the city. People are encouraged to take public transit as a greener, faster and more affordable way of getting to their destinations.
