What?
An award presentation that your sponsorship of the Friendly Neighbourhood Youth Road Hockey Tourney helped make possible.
Each year the event raises as much as it can in order to be able to offer an education award to one lucky youth community leader.
Each team nominates one player and I hope you can come out and support the 2011 winner of the Mike Thornhill Award, A.J., in receiving this for showing leadership in the community beyond hockey.
The evening will be accompanied by light snacks and refreshments with the regular menu fare also available (followed by) accompanied by open stage entertainment with walk on singers and performers welcome.
We expect to have a range of great performers!
