Astral Media Mentorship | Now Accepting Applications
“The Astral Media Mentorship is a national competitive program for an emerging / intermediate Canadian producer (male or female) who is Aboriginal, a visible minority, or an individual with a disability.
The program prepares the producer for the Banff World Media Festival through five days of pre-festival coaching and consultation in Toronto; it also includes registration, accommodation, and roundtrip airfare to Banff (from Toronto).
The winner receives a festival bursary (see Benefits) and a five-day pre-festival mentorship, including three intensive workshops with industry consultants and meetings with Astral Media executives. The 2011 Astral Media Mentorship takes place May 30 – June 3. The festival runs June 12 – 15.”
