The Youth in Action Project has been bringing South Asian youth together to develop skills for media related work or postsecondary education. Participants have been trained in social media and media literacy and produced short clips and radio broadcasts in partnership with Canadian Multicultural Radio (CMR) and Tamil Vision International (TVI).

We are now looking for more South Asian Youth to take part in a FREE two-weekend workshop from professionals in the field of camera work, onscreen, radio skills, voice recording, creative, editing and marketing skills . The participants will get a once in a life time opportunity to produce a 5-10 minute documentary or radio broadcast in a professional studio. We are looking for youth to get involved as participants as well as volunteers for the event. The event is FREE. Food and TTC tokens will be provided.

Space is limited. Please contact hadia@cassa.on.ca or (416) 932 1359 ext. 11 if you’d like to be involved or find out more!
