This is an update to my previous blog Please Urge Your MP to Attend “What’s Next: How Do We Address Poverty in Canada?” Dec. 5, 2011.

“Dear Dignity for All supporters and planned attendees of “What’s Next? How do we Address Poverty in Canada?”, on Monday Dec.5th,

We regret to inform you that due to a last minute change to the parliamentary calendar, this event has been cancelled. A mandatory vote for MPs in the House of Commons has been scheduled for Monday evening, meaning that many of the panel speakers and participants integral to the discussion will be unable to attend.

We apologize for the short notice. The event will be re-scheduled for early in the new year; please stay tuned for more details.

Thank you for your interest in addressing poverty in Canada, and the Dignity for All campaign.
